Doodle Quiz ("we", "us") is an online drawing game available at doodle-quiz.com, run by an independent developer. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account information. When you start playing, an anonymous account is created automatically. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and basic profile information from Google so your progress can follow you across devices.
- Profile. The nickname you choose.
- Game activity. Your drawings (including the stroke and timing data used for replay), guesses, scores, ratings, reports, and ticket balance.
- Technical data. IP address, browser type, and similar log data collected automatically by our hosting providers for security and operations.
How we use it
To run the game (replaying doodles, scoring, leaderboards, sharing), to prevent cheating and abuse, to fix problems, and to improve the service. We do not sell your personal information.
Your content is public
Doodle Quiz is a social game. Your drawings, nickname, and scores are visible to other players — on quizzes, leaderboards, and share pages that anyone with the link can open.
Cookies and advertising
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in. We also use Google AdSense to show ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies or similar identifiers to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings, and you can learn how Google uses data from partner sites at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Where required by law (for example in the EEA or UK), you will see a consent message before advertising cookies are used.
Service providers
We rely on Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (web hosting), and Google (sign-in and advertising). Your data is processed on their infrastructure, which may be located outside your country.
Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. To delete your account and the data linked to it, email us and we will take care of it within a reasonable time.
Children
Anyone can play Doodle Quiz — nothing beyond a nickname is required. We do not knowingly collect personal information from young children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information. Email us and we will help.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will post the new version here with an updated date.
